🌍 Know your rights. Take action. Build a greener Europe!
A greener and more sustainable Europe is not only about protecting the environment—it is also about understanding our rights, taking responsibility, and having the power to shape the future of our communities. From the choices we make in our everyday lives to the decisions taken by public institutions, environmental protection and democratic participation are closely connected. Yet, young people may not always know how they can make their voices heard, influence decisions, or understand the rules and rights that support environmental protection.
That’s why “Our Green Rights in Europe” brings together young people from across Europe for a journey exploring environmental responsibility, human rights, the rule of law, and active citizenship. Together, we will discover how European values and democratic participation relate to environmental challenges and how young people can contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
Through interactive workshops, non-formal learning activities, group challenges, discussions, and intercultural exchange, participants will have the opportunity to explore the EU Youth Goals, exchange perspectives on environmental issues, discover sustainable practices, and reflect on the role of citizens in protecting the environment. By learning from one another and working together, we will explore different ways to turn ideas into action and better understand how individual choices, collective initiatives, and democratic processes can contribute to positive change.
This exchange is about more than sustainability—it is about recognizing that everyone has a role to play in shaping the future of Europe. It creates space to share experiences, question assumptions, learn about different perspectives, and discover how young people can engage with environmental issues in their own communities. Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their critical thinking, cooperation, and civic engagement skills while building connections with young people from different backgrounds.
Ready to explore your green rights and discover how you can make a difference? Join us and become part of a generation working towards a greener, fairer, and more democratic Europe! 🌱🇪🇺
